Air Emissions Management and Greenhouse Gas (GHG)

DDH offers adapted solutions for air quality monitoring and air emission modeling. In addition, we guide our clients in their projects for quantification, reporting, and optimizing greenhouse gas (GHG).

A few projects realised by DDH in air emission modeling

• Modeling of fugitive emissions produced by a polystyrene manufacturing process.

• Modeling using the ISCST3 model for mercury emission in ambient air from smokestacks. Determination of the optimal height of smokestacks and the air treatment processes.

• Air emission modeling of 23 contaminants produced by multiple sources in a cement plant in the context of a request for a certificate of authorization for the use of alternative fuels.

• Air emission modeling of multiple sources of COV, acids and particles in the context of a request for a certificate of authorization and in order to monitor air quality in three (3) plants.

• Environment assessment of the use of worn out tires as an alternative fuel by air emission modeling of gas emissions, and study of the social acceptability of worn out tire incineration in the neighbourhood of the cement plant.

• Air emission modeling of particulate matter produced by a metal shredder.
