Environmental Compliance Audit (ECA)

DDH helps its clients:

in their approach with authorities: authorization and permit request, reporting of emissions (NPRI, HRM, provincial emissions), etc.;
in their efforts to insure operation compliance (ex.: environmental compliance audit).

A few authorization and permit requests realised by DDH

Update and consolidation of existing certificates of authorization into a unique certificate of authorization for five (5) manufacturing and assembling aeronautic companies.
Preparation of requests for certificates of authorization, in accordance with article 22 of the Environment Quality Act and with article 35 of the Fisheries Act, for the permanent diversion of a stream and the implementation of a groundwater drainage trench in the former stream bed.
Preparation of a request for a certificate of authorization for the entire activities of various companies such as recycling companies, lamp manufacturing companies, etc.
Preparation of a request for a certificates of authorization presented to the MDDEP and for a permit presented to Fisheries and Oceans Canada for fieldwork in hydrous environments executed in the context of the implementation of railway shop.

Calculations of used and released product quantities based on NPRI guidelines and criteria and preparation of the annual report for many companies, in particular in the aeronautic field.
Preliminary study in order to determine if a manufacturing company is required to produce a report on releases and transfers of pollutants on an annual basis based on NPRI criteria.
Support and training for experts responsible of producing reports on releases and transfers of pollutants on an annual basis based on NPRI criteria for the operation of petroleum product storage terminals.

Regulatory ECA of various aspects such as hazardous and residual material management, air emissions, liquid effluents, environmental emergencies, nuisances and noise, soils and groundwater as well as certificates and permits for various manufacturers.
ECA, statement of hazardous material management per department, and waste management for a glass container manufacturer.
ECA of 17 waste management facilities located in the provinces of Québec and Ontario.
Inventory of equipment, which may contain ozone-depleting substances (ODS) and greenhouse gas in the context of an environmental audit for various clients.
Update of an environmental compliance audit (ECA) guide in federal government facilities.
Environmental audits and support for the implementation of environmental management systems in international airports and harbours.
