Daniel Morin, M.Sc.

Daniel Morin has been working in environmental consulting since 1989. He graduated in Biology at Université de Montréal where he also obtained a master’s degree in Ecology.
He developed an expertise in areas related to soil and groundwater contamination, particularly in risk analysis. In the context of real estate transactions, winding up of industrial operations or redevelopment of obsolete industrial zones, he realized numerous Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments as well as environment compliances audits for commercial and industrial sites. He was also involved in the development and the review of emergency planning programs and their testing.
He is an active member of many professional organizations and has been Vice-president- Contaminated Soil and Groundwater Contamination at RÉSEAU environnement between 2004 and 2006. He has realized and supervised many risk analysis projects and has given presentations on this topic in Ontario, in the USA and in Germany.
Finally, he is a «Certified Environmental Site Assessor» of the Association québécoise de vérification environnementale.
